Chechen refugees in Germany and their Turkish and German friends meet between 10:30 and 14:00 for a human rights action on the Odeons Square in Munich. The organiser of the meeting - Gesellschaft fuer bedrohte Voelker - expects an attendance of some 400-500 people and plans to distribute an appeal asking German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder to exert pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin to launch negotiations with Chechen President Aslan Maskhadov. A group of children from the Caucasus will dance.
