Three people abducted in Serzhen-Yurt

By Ruslan Isayev

CHECHNYA - Two young men were arrested by soldiers at a checkpoint near the Chechen village of Serzhen-Yurt on Wednesday.

Aslan Zukharayev of Serzhen-Yurt, and Musa Batsiyev of the village of Goyskoye in the Urus-Martanovsky district, both aged 30, were driving to the district town of Shali when they were stopped by soldiers. Batsiyev was visiting Serzhen-Yurt.

So far their families have been unable to find out where they are. The military refuses to admit responsibility for their disappearance.

And today information about another abduction in Serzhen-Yurt was received. Chechen law enforcers seized 40 year-old Abdulbek Zubayrayev who has been an invalid since childhood. He’s being allegedly held by the Kadyrovite forces in the nearby village of Avtury.
