Three people kidnapped during the past twenty-four hours in Chechnya

CHECHNYA - A local resident was abducted by unknown assailants from his home in Argun, the local police announced. The kidnappers were carrying firearms and drove off in the victim‘s car.

And last night a local resident was also abducted in the village of Gekhi in the Urus-Martanovsky district.

In the Staropromyslovsky district of Grozny, a group of armed men in several cars kidnapped a young man from his home while severely beating his mother during the capture.

The location of all these victims and the identities of the attackers are unknown.
