Releasing his wife at a check-point, Russian soldiers took Eldiyev to the headquarters in the Leninski district. After severe torture and beating, the man died on March 30. The soldiers have not handed over his body yet, claiming from the relatives a written confirmation that Khasan Eldiyev was a member of the Chechen resistance.
