Guerrillas, military clash near Gansolchu and in KhattuniRuslan Isayev, North Caucasus – On Friday morning, Chechen guerrillas and a special unit of Russian military intelligence, whose members were mostly Chechens, clashed near the village of Gansolchu in the Nozhai-yurtovsky district.
Three fatalities were reported on each side as a result of the fight, which lasted several hours.
Another battle took place in the Khattuni village in the Vedensky district. Military sources claimed that four guerrillas were killed.
