Russia’s Security Council: Monetary Influx from Abroad to Chechen Bandit Formations Has Ended

Grozny, October 30 /from RIA Novosti Correspondent/ -- Valentin Sobolev, deputy secretary of the Russian Security Council, said that the inflow of money from abroad to bandit formations in Chechnya had ended.

"Bandits have found themselves in extremely hard conditions, when manna from heaven which fell on them has ceased to be", Sobolev said to journalists after a conference with Akhmad Kadyrov, chief of the Chechen administration.

Sobolev also said that corrections would be made in the conduct of the anti-terrorist operation in Chechnya. They are due to many circumstances, such as the changed international situation.
