Operation at a school in Argun

Ruslan Isayev, Northern Caucasus - On April 15 another ”mopping-up” operation was carried out at the school No. 4 in Argun, east of the capital Grozny, as Russian soldiers detained eight 10th-class pupils right during the classes.

Teachers tried to stand up for the children but the soldiers heavily beat them.

People living in nearby houses link the operation to a recent fight in the school building, where three Chechen fighters took shelter. More than ten Russian soldiers were reportedly killed during the fight.
