Family of Chechen policeman killed in Grozny

Ruslan Isayev, Northern Caucasus – On March 20, the wife and daughter of a policeman working for the Chechen Ministry of Interior were shot dead in a housing estate in Grozny.

Some people believe that the murder was committed by secret services in order to discredit members of the Chechen resistance. On the other hand, an unnamed commander of Chechen „OMON“ said the action was carried out by Chechen fighters in revenge for the policeman's collaboration with Russian secret services.
