Blasts injure several Russian soldiers in Shali and Vedeno districts

Ruslan Isayev, North Caucasus - Several Russian soldiers were wounded today by blasts in the districts of Shali and Vedeno.

The first explosion took place this morning during an engineering reconnaissance in the northern part of the Avtury village in the Shali district. A Russian officer and three soldiers sustained numerous injuries, announced a source from the Interior Ministry of the Chechen Republic.

The second blast occured in the village of Kharachoi in the Vedeno district. A landmine went off just as a Russian soldier was approaching it.
