Russian newspaper Novaya gazeta published Anna Politkovskaya's interview with certain Khanpasha Terkibayev, who allegedly participated in the hostage-taking in the Dubrovka theatre in Moscow in October 2002 and who later became an accredited correspondent for a Russian state newspaper and a member of the Russian
delegation to a PACE session in Strasbourg.
Estonian security services closed down the server of news agency Kavkaz-Center, which is run by Chechen propaganda chief Movladi Udugov and which recently moved to Estonia from Lithuania.

The North Caucasus Military District Court in Rostov-on-Don decided to carry out another forensic expertise of the health of Russian Colonel Yuri Budanov, who in March 2000 killed Chechen girl Elza Kungayeva.
The Office of Russia's Prosecutor General officially asked Qatar to extradite former President of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria Zelimkhan Yandarbiyev, accusing him of participating in the raid by Chechen field commander Shamil Basayev on Dagestan in 1999 and in the Moscow hostage-taking in 2002.

Akhmar Zavgayev, Chechnya's deputy to Russia's Federation Council, stated that Chechen people will get financial reward for providing Moscow-backed authorities and law enforcement agencies with information about Chechen guerilla fighters. A non-commercial fund will be set up for the purpose, Zavgayev noted.
